JAKES Day Event begins at 9 am

Paradise Public Fishing Area

Bring the kids for a day of outdoor family fun! There will be an adult/child fishing event at Lakes Cup and Saucer (kids should be age 15 and under) Fishing begins at 7:30 am. Instructional bass fishing excursions available (call ahead to reserve a time-912.285.6094).


JAKES Day registration starts at 9 am and includes: Steve Scruggs Wildlife Program, BB gun-skeet shooting range, archery range, ABAC Forestry Wildlife display and K-9 search and rescue demos. There will be a prize drawing at 2 pm. Kids ages 17 and under can participate and the National Wild Turkey Federation will provide lunch.
