• These lists are for rare species and natural communities that are KNOWN to occur in a given county and which we have records of locations in our databases.  Upon request to our office, we also have available POTENTIAL lists of species, which are likely to occur in the county if thorough surveys are performed (not available for every county).  These lists are derived from the potential range of the species and should not be confused with the lists of known species provided here.
