Reporting Fish Kills and Pollution
Help protect our valuable
aquatic resources. Report fish kills as quickly as possible.
Information needed includes: your name and a daytime telephone
number, stream or lake name, county, date you first noted the fish
kill or pollution, kind (species) of fish that have died.
This information will help the Department of Natural Resources
investigate the event and identify the cause. The sooner you
report the event the greater the likelihood of completing a
successful investigation.
