West Point Lake and West Point WMA

West Point Lake is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and provides good goose hunting opportunity, but limited duck hunting opportunity.  Contact the Corps of Engineers at 706-645-2937 for specific regulations.  West Point WMA contains three managed impoundments that are hunted on a quota basis.  Also, there are over 40 acres of  goose grazing pastures that attract geese and are open for hunting.  Call the GADNR at 912-825-6354 for more information.
