Lake Walter F. George, Walter F. George WMA, and Eufaula NWR

Lake Walter F. George is a 45,700 acre reservoir owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  This reservoir provides hunting opportunity for both ducks and geese.  Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge encompasses a large portion of the northern section of the lake.  The managed impoundments on the NWR attract large numbers of ducks.  Call the GADNR at 912-430-4254 for information about the WMA, or call the USFWS Refuge Office at 334-687-4065 for more information.
