Public Meeting Re: Striped Bass Fishery on Lake Richard B. Russell

THOMSON, Ga. (11/23/2010)

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division will hold a public meeting on November 29, 2010 to discuss management decisions for the striped bass fishery on Lake Richard B. Russell. This fishery is currently managed through a reciprocal agreement between Georgia and South Carolina.

The meeting will take place on Nov. 29, 2010 from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Richard B. Russell Dam and Lake Visitor’s Center (4144 Russell Dam Drive, Elberton, GA 30635). Those interested are encouraged to bring these meetings to the attention of others that also may be interested in participating.

Public comment is welcome. Statements should be concise to allow all interested attendees an opportunity to speak. Those unable to attend a meeting are welcome to submit written comments by December 3, 2010 to:
