Enjoy Georgia Wildlife Images from DNR on Instagram

SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. (2/18/2014)

Georgia’s outdoor enthusiasts can get another glimpse into the outdoors through the eyes of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources staff by following our new Instagram profile at www.instagram.com/georgiawildlife.

Instagram is a social network that allows users to share photos and short videos online while also applying digital filters to them - and that’s exactly what we’re already doing on our profile! You can even share your own photos of Georgia wildlife with us by tagging @GeorgiaWildlife!

“We’re constantly looking for additional ways to engage with hunters, anglers and all who enjoy the outdoors in Georgia through social media” said communications/outreach specialist David Allen. “While we’re already connecting with our fans through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and even Foursquare, we’ve found our followers thoroughly enjoy photos from our staff and what they encounter on the job. With our new Instagram profile, we’re giving Georgia outdoorsmen and women more of what they want to see.”

Whether your interest is hunting, fishing, nongame wildlife conservation or simply photography, the Wildlife Resources Instagram profile will have something for you!
