Harvesting Ginseng On State and Federal Lands

Harvesting of ginseng is not allowed on State Lands.

Harvesting of ginseng on Federal Lands is allowed in some forest
districts.  To obtain a permit to harvest ginseng from US Forest Service
lands use the following contact information:
