Alligator Harvest Summary for 2006

Statewide Summary

There were 502 alligator hunters selected for the 2006 alligator quota hunt from 3141 applicants. Approximately ninety-three percent (93%) of selected alligator hunters were Georgia residents.  Thirty-five percent (35%) of alligator hunters were successful in harvesting an alligator.  Seventy-two percent (72%) of harvested alligators were male.
