Lake Hartwell is a 55,900 acre reservoir along the Georgia-South Carolina border that is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (706-376-4788). This reservoir offers limited to moderate opportunity for both duck and goose hunting. The most common species of ducks include mallards, ring-necked ducks, scaup, and teal.
