Georgians can also support nongame wildlife and plants by donating directly to the Nongame Wildlife Conservation and Wildlife Habitat Acquisition Fund. Your tax-deductible gift will be used to further the conservation efforts of Georgia's protected and other nongame wildlife, such as the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker and the threatened loggerhead sea turtle.
Georgians interested in directly donating to the fund can send a check made payable to the Georgia Wildlife Conservation Fund -- c/o Nongame-Endangered Wildlife Program, 116 Rum Creek Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029. For more information, call (478) 994-1438.
** If you'd like to donate to the fund in honor of someone, we can send you or that person a special wildlife card recognizing the gift. For more details, please contact (478) 994-1438 or (770) 761-3035.
