Ever find a plant or an animal in the woods, and you do not know what it is? Join CEWC interpretive staff as they give you the basic instructions on how to use field guides for all kinds of wildlife and plant life found on our hiking trails. Participants get to go on a guided hike with multiple types of field guides to learn how to identify many parts of nature. You may also find out new information as well, something not seen within the books.
To get to CEWC, take I-20 to Exit 98. Travel south on Highway 11, go through Mansfield and continue three miles south to the entrance at Marben Farms Road on the left. Then take the first right on Elliott Trail. Go approx 1 mile and the visitor's center will be on your left.
