Experience Georgias other colorful winged wildlife - butterflies! Visit with the Butterfly Lady of southwest Georgia and learn more about our fluttering friends while spending time in the beautifully landscaped butterfly gardens on the grounds at Pebble Hill Plantation. Browse through the Plant Sale while professionals demonstrate how to create the perfect bird and butterfly friendly habitat in your own backyard.
While winding through a mature longleaf pine forest, visitors may hear the beautiful song of the Bachman's Sparrow - Georgia's Best Singer - and see many other specialty birds in the habitats of the pinewoods. Early spring offers a chance to see local breeding birds as well as migratory birds that are preparing to head further north. Enjoy great viewing opportunities to see anything from bluebirds and buntings to barred owls and bobwhite quail.
