8.25 pound channel catfish caught from Lake Lanier in April 2006.
Julia, the proud angler, is shown with her prize catch proudly
described as "the biggest fish of her life!" This proves it is time
to go fishing! Grab some kids and a bucket of minnows and
go.

Aaron Bagwell and Grandfather James Hubbard of Dallas Ga. With a
21 1/2 pound striper caught aboard First Bite Guide Service on Feb
22, 2006 on Allatoona Reservoir.

Grayson Usrey of Kennasaw, GA age 8 and Grandfather Allen Stanley with a fat striper Grayson boated from Carters Lake in Feb. 2006.

This 33-pound, 2-ounce striped bass was brought to our Fisheries office in Calhoun. Charles Hemphill caught it in Carters Lake on January 30, 2006.

This 10-pound hybrid was caught by Jim Mize, Jr. on Jan.6, 2006 while fishing with his dad on a guided trip with First Bite Guide Service.

A nice 4.5-pound Dicks Creek rainbow trout caught by Dan Harrison
(held by 10-year old grandson Gray Harrison). This fish measured 22
inches long.

Fifteen year-old Patrick Gorman from NJ caught this beautiful brown
trout from Dukes Creek. It measured out at 24 inches and was
estimated at 7 pounds. He is shown here with his
"guide-for-the-day" and friend, seventeen year-old Daniel Rabern of
Clarkesville, GA.

Daniel caught his own 21-inch rainbow from Dukes Creek.

This 15-lb. 9-oz largemouth bass was caught in a private Pickens
County lake on May 3, 2005 by Jacob Ramsey from Bainbridge,
Ohio. The bass measured 27" long with a 23 1/2" girth and,
according to Georgia Outdoor News, ranks as the 21st largest
largemouth bass caught by an angler in Georgia waters.

Adam Atcheson of Dallas, Georgia caught and released this
25-and-a-half- inch brown trout from Dukes Creek at GA DNR's
Smithgall Woods Conservation Area on Saturday afternoon, April 30,
2005.

This 26-inch brown trout was caught and released on Friday
April 29, 2005 on the Chattahoochee River near Roswell,
GA.

Richard Beatty from Louisville KY is holding a 20-pound striped
bass caught and released from the Savannah River on
December 17, 2004.

Achille Biagi is holding two redfish caught and released on
December18, 2004. They were caught in the Ogeechee River
estuary.

5-pound Lanier spotted bass caught by guide Ryan Coleman.
This bass was caught on August 24, 2004 using a "fish head
spin" lure. It was suspended over an island hump in 40
ft. of water.

This 33-pound striper was caught by Bill Carson in
February 2004 on live shad in Lake Lanier.
